330 Infection Control Accessories Eurosteril Sterilisation Rolls MELAdoc Label Printer Eurosteril sterilisation rolls are made of the best certified materials: heavy weight medical paper (60 g/m²) and a double layer of light blue polyester/polypropylene film. This gives them a guaranteed seal during sterilisation, makes them extremely easy to open without releasing fibres or tearing, and offers maximum microbial protection. If stored properly, they can be sterile for up to 6 months. In addition, the chemical colour indicators signal a successfully completed cycle in the autoclave, thus guaranteeing maximum safety for patients. Eurosteril sterilisation rolls are manufactured in full compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC (as amended by Directive 2007/47/EC) and the EN 868-5 standard. The MELAdoc label printer facilitates and simplifies the designation and documentation of the released packaged sterilised instruments and textiles, and enables the traceability of the batch. The sterilised instruments can be assigned in a simple way to the patient and the sterilisation batch with the specification of the sterilisation date, batch number, the name of the person who released the instruments for application and the steriliser used.
