ACUPUNCTURE 12 For more information, please contact us +44 (0)151 448 1228 Trigger point dry needling is a treatment technique used by physiotherapists around the world. In the United States, trigger point dry needling has been approved as within the scope of physical therapy practice in a growing number of states. There are several dry needling techniques, based on different models, including the radiculopathy model and the trigger point model. Special attention is paid to the clinical evidence for trigger point dry needling and the underlying mechanisms. Trigger point dry needling is a relatively new technique used in combination with other physiotherapy interventions. These needles are specially designed for dry needling. The perfect grip ensures total control and precision and facilitates the insertion and handling of the needle throughout the treatment. This also means a reduction of pain for the patient. They feature larger and stiffer handles, which makes manipulation of the needles much easier. The needles are also smoother to insert and minimise tissue damage, while optimising patient comfort. Needles are colour coded by size, to aviod confusion and for easy identification. Sterile, single use and individually packaged. Sold in packs of 100. Needle characteristics: ● Headless needle for better precision ● Thicker and stiffer handle improves handling and control ● High strength surgical stainless steel provides greater strength to the needle allowing better sharpening and its maintenance during multiple insertions ● Special conical sharpening for dry needling improves the needle penetration and handling ● Triple lubricant coating maintains lubrication during the process keeping the needle painless ● Triple polishing process removes the surface irregularities achieving a smooth painless needle Code Colour Size (mm) Price PR0131 Black 0.30x75mm £8.95 PR0132 Green 0.16x25mm £7.25 PR0133 Dark Pink 0.25x13mm £7.25 PR0134 Red 0.25x25mm £7.25 PR0135 White 0.30x40mm £7.25 PR0136 Blue 0.32x40mm £7.25 PR0137 Light Pink 0.30x50mm £7.25 PR0138 Purple 0.30x60mm £7.25 PR0139 Yellow 0.25x40mm £7.25 Agupunt Dry Needling Needles with Guide
