CLEANING THE HANDPIECE OF THE PODOLOG NOVA 3 IS EASY
It's important to clean the handpiece regularly to ensure it functions properly. If grinding dust is allowed to build up inside the handpiece
it may lead to disturbances or affect the secure seating of cutters/burs and grinders. The patent pending RUCK SYSTEM allows you to
clean the handpiece yourself without dismantling it. Simple and ingenious: attach the handpiece attachment and start the cleaning pro-
gramme, and within 60 seconds air is drawn through the clamping unit, removing dust particles. The intelligent programme control
gives you regular reminders about cleaning. Step-by-step instructions are shown on the display to guide you through the process.
1. Remove the cutter/bur, handpiece
sleeve and plastic star from the handpiece.
2. Refit the sleeve on the handpiece
without the plastic star.
3. Fit the silicone attachment on the hand-
piece and start the cleaning programme.
The chuck is cleaned in just 60 seconds.
Then all you have to do is refit the plastic
star and you're ready!
During the cleaning process air is channelled
through the inside of the clamping unit for
60 seconds. This removes dust particles and
your handpiece is back in "top shape".
