19 diaped.co.uk Digital Non-Contact Thermometer The Non-Contact solution for Diabetic Foot Assessments Code Description NV1020 Diaped Digital Non-Contact Thermometer The first non-contact clinical thermometer in the World and the only one which measures the temperature at a specific point from a distance with maximum accuracy. It provides instantaneous digital reading of body temperature without any contact with the body skin or mucosa. Does not use laser radiations, is safe and harmless. While other thermometers require disinfection after each use or need expensive hygienic and disposable covers, the Diaped Digital Thermometer does not. This advantage can result in significant savings in hospitals The Diaped Digital Thermometer has a patented quick stabilisation system that makes the thermometer particularly suitable for hospital use, where room temperature can change from room to room, as well as in ambulances and private practices. For Diabetic Foot Assessments: The thermometer will scan the temperature of the skin allowing comparative tests within a specific area of the foot or leg. It will also allow you to test both feet, storing the data each time. Infection Control Friendly: This thermometer is a true non-invasive device, which does not come into contact with the patient. The Thermometers ergonomic design allows for easy wipe cleaning and complies with infection control regulations. Versatile: The Diaped Digital Thermometer is primarily designed for professional users, but can also be used by families that require regular, maximum accuracy and flexibility of temperature taking. This thermometer can even be used to diagnose an infection in a wound without contact, deep tracking infection to the leg and foot as well as Charcot Arthropathy. The LCD display automatically shows room temperature when in stand-by. 20,000 Measurements: The device is supplied by 4 x AAA batteries (included in the box) that have a life of 20,000 measurements or 3 years, according to use. The only necessary maintenance is to protect the gilt wave-guide with its protective dust-tight cap when the device is not in use.
