Get to Know Us Millie Owen Digital Marketing & Events Executive Starting in 2021 as a Sixth Form placement, Millie never expected a six-week role in Marketing to turn into a four-year career. Now Digital Marketing & Events Executive, she's grown through several roles, developed new skills, and enjoy the variety each day brings. For Millie, the highlight is seeing an event come together, a real reward for the hard work behind the scenes. Callum Riley International Export Executive Callum joined Algeos in 2017 as an Apprentice and has since worked as a Warehouse Operative, Deputy Dispatch Team Leader, and International Export Executive. The consistency and security of the role has kept him here, along with the challenge of managing exports end-to-end - f rom speaking with international customers to coordinating shipments across the world. Claire Robson People & Culture Manager Claire joined Algeos in 2016 as Receptionist, and has since progressed - supported by the company to complete CIPD qualif ications - to her current role as People & Culture Manager. Her favourite part of the job is welcoming new starters, seeing them grow within the business, and driving engagement so that colleagues feel valued. John Cooney Dstribution Manager John joined Algeos in 2015 and has worked across a range of roles, f rom Goods In Team Leader and Logistics Manager, before becoming Distribution Manager. He values the genuine, family feel of the business and says it's the people he works with that make each day better. 13
