Prosthetics Silicones Quick-Sil Silicone System Quick-Sil is a silicone application system that uses a cartridge-loading gun to correctly distribute super-soft silicone. Utilising Shore A2 blue silicone, Quick-Sil provides a custom layer of skin compatible, visco-elastic silicone. The starter kit includes: 2 x 50ml Cartridges; Mixing Gun; 10 x Static Mixers; Quick-Prime Kit Features: ●● Sets in five minutes or less. ●● New QuickPrime adhesive primer creates a firm bond to almost any material. ●● Mixes automatically through static mixer. ●● No waste - use only what you need and store the rest. ●● Self-levelling, no grinding necessary. ●● Water permeable for dispersal of moisture. It can also be used for distal cushioning and in footcare for moulding interdigital wedges, separators, etc. It is a soft and easily kneadable impression material, which when used with the 'catalyst hardening' paste achieves a putty-like consistency. It remains in this form for a period of time ranging from 1-5 minutes. During which, the practitioner can fabricate a device into shape before setting begins. The non-greasy formula is particularly pleasant to handle and popular with patients.
